Today, July 25, 2020 – The Ministry of Education informs all school administrators, parents, students, and the general public that a comprehensive reopening timeline and strategy is been finalized for the admittance of other grade levels back to school amid the health crisis. The document will articulate the processes, timings, and necessary requirements for the purpose of ensuring that the conduct of these school activities meet its objective and students and all associated in the process are safe.
However, the Ministry confirms that a final consultation with the Ministry of Health (MoH) and National Public Health Institute of Liberia (NPHIL) is ongoing and thereafter, the official document containing the detailed timeline for the reopening will be released and shared with all stakeholders. School-administrators are advised to not implement any preliminary timeline that is currently known to be in circulation.
