Ministry of Education also plans to complete school grading as of September this year; an exercise geared towards guiding the Ministry on regulating fees charged by all private and faith-based schools. Public Schools registration fees remain unchanged.
MoE also warns and bans all public schools against selling uniforms. Meanwhile, private and faith-based schools are urged to make uniform sales on campuses as optional to parents and students who desire to buy. Professor Sonii emphasized that any private school that mandates students to purchase uniforms on campus shall be levied the 35% income tax for corporate enterprise.
